How does it work?
The main substance called Phosphytadylcholine is injected in the fat tissue directly under the skin. Lipases from the cell nucleus chop fat into fatty acids and glycerin, which are excreted in bile and urine.
What are the advantages of Lipolysis over Liposuction?
This is a gentle, non invasive way with no anasthesia with manageable effects.
How long has it been around?
It has been used for fat dissolving since 1959.
How long does it take to see results?
Typically 4-7 weeks
How many treatments do I need?
It depends on the individual. Typically patients see wanted results on areas of the face after 2 treatments and body after 3 treatments. Treatments are 8 weeks apart.
Is it painful?
No, its a series of small injections done in the same area with small needles. The after effects include swelling and can be considered uncomfortable but typically not painful.
